I was trying to write a poem, and l put on their CD as background noise, but it eventually ended up inspiring me. Finally finished my first poem since May 2011. Thanks Mumford & Sons :)
I’m not saying I used to be this kid who had so many artistic and fancy ideas that would make for great poetry, photographs, or pictures, but I used to have quite the creative mind about things. Now when I’m a writing mood I can barely think of any emotions or thoughts I want to convey. It’s kinda sad :/ I love writing so much, expression is one of the things I love so much, being about to put my own thoughts, emotions, and feelings into a piece of art may it be film, photographs, pictures/drawings, poetry, stories, or even acting. Just artistically expressing myself, and it’s been so hard to. It’s like I’ve writer’s block for the past year. I mean, sure, I’m writing a play right now for my tech theatre class, and I like my idea, but I don’t what others will think of it and such or if they’ll even like it. I don’t know. I’ve had this one idea for a poem stuck in my head since the beginning of Sophomore year (and that’s been like a year and a half) and I just don’t know how I can put that idea on to paper. I just feel like I have a loss for words and I don’t how to express myself anymore. :/
