But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling,
Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore -
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking `Nevermore.’- Edgar Allen Poe, The Raven (1845) illustrated by Édouard Manet [full text]

Camille Pissaro, Franz Marc, and Georgie O’Keefe… I love it! All of O’keefe’s paintings look so sensual, beautiful, it’s just amazing! Camille Pissaro just makes me want to move from Florida. To some place with landscape instead of “flat… flat… swamp… flat… flat… gator…” Franz Marc’s artistry is just plain invigorating! Keep in mind I know nothing really about art, I only know what I like and how it makes me feel.
